Ok… not too many kids participated in the first Spike posts. Let’s see if we can change that! Here is the deal, you are now a part of the Spike Social Club. Tomorrow when you come into class, you will be in charge of one part of Spike’s day. He needs people to take care of him. Spike’s Social Club will now take care of Spike’s daily needs. Some of the things that Spike needs in a day are food, water and socializing. Leave me a comment about what need you want to help him with.
If you want to help with his food, you will be in charge of making sure that there is always food in his bowl. If he is low or out you will ask me for his bowl and you will fill it with mealworms from the mini fridge. Also,you can bring him veggies from home that you have researched are ok to feed to young bearded dragons. I will need two food handlers. First come first served.
If you choose to help Spike socialize, you will be in charge of taking Spike out of his terrarium for a walk. You will first have to pass a quick course on holding Spike. After passing the test you will make sure that Spike gets out for a bit of socializing. I need two social handlers. First come first served.
If you sign up to help with Spike’s water you will change his water every day. You will also wash out his bowl once during the week. This is one of the most critical jobs that needs to be done for Spike. He needs to have fresh water and a clean bowl to live a healthy life. I need two water handlers. First come first served.
When you reply, please rank all three jobs with a 1 for your 1st choice, 2 for your 2nd and 3 for your 3rd choice. If two people reply about your 1st choice before you, you will get your 2nd choice. Spike thanks you for your help!
